VCNH is proud to partner with D.O.T.S to deliver Speech Therapy services in our clinic.  This allows for seamless transitions for your child between therapies and allows for real time collaboration between staff.

Speech-Language Therapy is used to treat a variety of disorders that effect speech production, expressive and receptive language, and cognitive communication skills.  At VCNH, a certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) evaluates each client to help identify any language issues and then discuss appropriate treatment options with the parents.

When is Speech-Language Therapy beneficial?

Speech-language therapy is used for a variety of reasons, including:

• Developmental or cognitive delays
• Feeding disorders
• Swallowing disorders
• Traumatic brain injuries
• Hearing impairments
• Speech disorders (stuttering or voice resonance issues)
