Becky Hodnett M.S., LPC-S

Becky Hodnett has been a part of the Vanguard faculty for over 23 years. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University, and a master’s degree in counseling from Texas A&M University in Commerce. She obtained her license as a professional counselor (LPC) in Texas in 2002 and began seeing children in group therapy as well as individually.

For 14 years Becky worked as part of the therapy team at Vanguard, helping children and their families find their way to success in relationships, learning, and life. Along the way she became a Supervisor of LPC Interns as well. She has served as the Principal and Clinical Director at Vanguard School since 2016 and welcomed the opportunity to direct clinical services at VCNH.

Becky feels blessed to be a part of so many children’s lives and to have called Vanguard a second home for so long. She loves her job and the children and families she gets to work with every day. When she’s not at work, Becky enjoys spending time with her own children, Drew and Hannah, her husband, Bo, and Lady, Snickers, Doc and Elvis, the dogs, the horse and the bearded dragon.
